Exceptionally well stocked with inspiring ingredients and produce, all year round....

We offer fresh, great quality produce and, because we’re independent, we can change our range ongoing to suit what’s in season and what’s delicious.

Not only do we select the best and tastiest fruit and veg to sell, we also take care of it, transporting and storing it in a way that means it stays that way.

We’re dedicated to sourcing locally and seasonally, wherever we can.

There are loads of brilliant local farms and businesses across the Meon Valley, producing delicious food and drink. So we like to showcase as many as possible – and keep our miles and carbon footprint down at the same time.

At certain times of the year we’ll have potatoes, tomatoes, watercress, apples, cabbages and strawberries from the farms right on our doorstep. Our eggs are from Lycroft farm in the next village and our milk from local supplier, Clarkes Dairy. With great local suppliers like these, why would we go further afield (and why would you?)

There’s been apple pressing for juice at Hill farm since the 1970s – and Will Dobson and his team are award winners. Located in the Meon Valley’s very special micro-climate, his orchards supply us with a whole selection of deliciously healthy fruit juices.

Based in Salisbury, Wilton Wholefoods specialise in supplying the best natural and dried products for cooking and nibbling. We’re always well stocked with this family run business’s excellent products, from dried fruit to spices.

Cottage Delight

A little further afield are Cottage Delight. A brilliant business that started out making fudge 40 years ago and now supplies a fantastic range of condiments and accompaniments. Their perfect pickles and sensational sauces make lovely gifts for foodies too.

For your four-legged friends, we’ve chosen wholesome and naturally healthy food producers Wellbeloved and Forthglade. They’re both great British businesses with excellent ethical credentials and there are always plenty of varieties to choose from at Hylands.
